Gillespie, Kidd & Coia Buildings Tour
On Saturday 19th January 2008, The Lighthouse organised a tour of some of Gillespie Kidd and Coia’s most stunning buildings including St Paul’s church, Glenrothes, St Patrick’s church, Kilsyth and St Bride’s church, East Kilbride. Curator and leading authority on Gillespie Kidd & Coia, Mark Baines led the tour.
Exhibition Critique
On Thursday 7th February 2008, members of the public were invited to join Andy MacMillan and Isi Metsztein for an evening of conversation to mark the end of the exhibition. The event included curator Mark Baines, graphic designer Mark Breslin (ISO), film maker Saul Metzstein, exhibition designers Ewan Imrie (Collective Architecture) and Toby Paterson who candidly discussed the creation of the major retrospective. The audience were later encouraged to ask questions to the panel and have a last look around the exhibition.
